Update to Participation of League1 British Columbia in the 2024 TELUS Canadian Championship

TSS Rovers FC confirmed as new entrant to #CanChamp

Following a motion by its Board of Directors, and at the request of the Club, Canada Soccer confirms that Victoria Highlanders FC have been withdrawn from the 2024 TELUS Canadian Championship. This follows the statement released by Victoria Highlanders FC on April 8th indicating that it will not operate a Women’s and Men’s team in League1 British Columbia (L1BC) in 2024.

Canada Soccer confirms that TSS Rovers FC, the 2023 L1BC regular season runners-up, will represent L1BC in the 2024 edition of the Competition. The Club will directly replace Victoria Highlanders FC, participating in the Preliminary Round against Pacific FC on May 1st at Starlight Stadium.
