CANMNT training hub announced ahead of Concacaf Nations League Quarterfinals
North American-based players gather in Toronto; official Concacaf Nations League roster to be named at the end of the week
Canada Soccer has announced a training hub consisting of a group of 19 players who will train in Toronto ahead of the open of CANMNT camp next week. North American-based players out of season were considered for the pre-camp and will take part in a week of training alongside Jesse Marsch and his coaching staff. A similar training hub model was used previously for the CANWNT.
Media availabilities will be announced in a separate media advisory today.
Canada will begin camp in Fort Lauderdale before travelling to Suriname for the Concacaf Nations League Quarter-Final first leg. They will then travel to Toronto ahead of the second leg on Tuesday 19 November, with tickets starting at $25 (plus applicable fees) still available.
Canada Soccer will announce the official Men’s National Team squad for the Concacaf Nations League quarterfinals on Friday 8 November.
The pre-camp group are as follows: Maxime Crépeau (Portland Timbers FC), Jonathan Sirois (CF Montréal), James Pantemis (Portland Timbers FC), Richie Laryea (Toronto FC), Jahkeele Marshall-Rutty (CF Montréal), Kobe Franklin (Toronto FC), Joel Waterman (CF Montréal), Kamal Miller (Portland Timbers FC), Adam Pearlman (Toronto FC), Raheem Edwards (CF Montréal), Richard Chukwu (Toronto FC), Jonathan Osorio (Toronto FC), Nathan Saliba (CF Montréal), Samuel Piette (CF Montréal), Alessandro Biello (CF Montréal), Zorhan Bassong (Sporting Kansas City), Stephen Afrifa (Sporting Kansas City), Deandre Kerr (Toronto FC), and Olusola Jimoh (York United FC).
