Canada’s Roster for the 2024 Concacaf Men's U-20 Championship Qualifiers Released

21 players to represent #CANM20 in Trinidad & Tobago

Canada Soccer has announced today the selection of 21 players who will represent Canada at the 2024 Concacaf Men's Under-20 Championship Qualifiers. The three-game group stage will take place in Port of Spain, Trinidad & Tobago and serve as a qualifier to the 2024 Concacaf Men's Under-20 Championship this summer. The tournament’s host and draw details will be published following the conclusion of the Qualifiers.

Canada has been drawn in Group D, where they will face Dominica, St. Vincent & The Grenadines and Trinidad & Tobago. The team will begin the group stage against Dominica on Friday 23 February, followed by St. Vincent & The Grenadines on Sunday 25 February, and concluding against Trinidad & Tobago on Tuesday 27 February. Canada will gather in Trinidad & Tobago on Friday 16 February in preparation for the Qualifiers.

"With this new format for the Concacaf Men's U-20 Championship, we’ll have to earn our way into the final qualifying round with no margin for error. While the environment and opponents will be a big test, especially Trinidad & Tobago in Port-of Spain, we see it as a real blessing to be able to bring a new generation of players together for the first time and do it in such meaningful matches.”

- Andrew Olivieri, Canada Soccer’s Men’s National Youth Excel Director and Men’s U-20 National Team Head Coach.

Following group stage play, teams that top each of the six groups will claim their spot at this summer’s 2024 Concacaf Men's Under-20 Championship.

Canada is looking to secure their 25th appearance at the Concacaf Men's Under-20 Championship having won the tournament twice (1986, 1996). At the 2022 edition of the bi-annual competition, Canada advanced from their group but were eliminated in the Round of 16 to Guatemala on penalties.

All of Canada’s matches will air LIVE and exclusively on OneSoccer, available on the fuboTV Canada platform, as a linear channel on Telus’s Optik TV (Channel 980), as well as online at OneSoccer.ca and through the OneSoccer app. Fans will find extended coverage across Canada Soccer’s digital channels on Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube featuring the hashtag #CANM20.
